The person I admire most
The person I admire most is my father. He is a role model father He is a successful doctor. He treats his patients kindly. He is serious and sincere at work. He is a friendly character who spares no effort to help those who need him and holds back nothing in due. He is loved by all people around him. I am greatly affected by him so I wish very much to follow in his footsteps. That's why I consider him the most important person in my life.
Life in the future
Life in the future will-be much easier and comfortable than our life today. Every family will own its home. The sun will provide us with the energy we need. Every home will have two or three computers and everyone will talk to their friends on the internet. Nobody will use telephones any more. We will see people's faces on the computer screen. Cars will run on fuel cell batteries and our cities will be cleaner and quieter. I think we will travel more, as planes will be faster and cheaper. Perhaps planes will fly to the moon!
The computer
The computer is one of the modern wonders of the world. It is an obvious  part of technology that reaches into most people's lives because they are far more accurate and efficient than human beings. It can be put to varied uses. It can easily perform simple and complex calculations. It can be used in banks to control our cash and keep bank accounts. Also, in hospitals, it can be used to check our health. Also, The computer is ideal for doing our everyday needs: it can be used to reserve aeroplane tickets, in shopping, communicate with relatives and colleagues. In the end, we can't do without the computer.
Pollution
Nothing is ugly than seeing tones of rubbish piles and exhaust fumes sent up into the atmosphere. Pollution is an environmental problem which arises from man's unwise abuse of his natural surroundings and resources such as air and water:* It's a big problem that needs all efforts to put an end to . On one hand, man has foolishly damaged his environment when poisoned , the atmosphere and polluted the earth and water. Polluted air may damage man's lungs and cause death. Also, Adding poisonous gases such as Carbon dioxide to the atmosphere may cause increased temperatures consequently the ice at the Arctic and Antarctic is melted. So, environmental conferences are yearly held all over the world to discuss pollution problems, show its dangers and offer solutions. In the end, man has to reach a balanced relation i^ in his everyday dealings with the environment.

Friends
Friends are either good or bad. Some of them are worthy of respects while others are hateful ones. Personally I like helpful friends who are ready to stand by me in time of troubles, and share my joy and sorrow. Moreover, man has no choice in making friends, yet he should be carefully cautious  when befriends anyone. He must test him in some situations before he reveals any of his secrets. Among friends I feel warmth brotherhood that is why I take my friend as a refuge (shelter) where I find relief and comfort a To sum up, a friend in need is a friend indeed.
Mobile phones
Mobile phones are of great importance to many people in society from a businessman to an ordinary man. They can't do without. In time of emergency people need to make a phone call asking for the ambulance help. In travel, mobiles are necessary to tell other people how you are doing. But some people have bad habits when using mobiles. They sometimes disturb people indoors unnecessarily at midnight. While driving, they may cause death, so the government should pass strict laws against using them while driving. However, doctors warn people of its drawbacks exposing themselves to the side effects of electromagnetic a., waves causing cancer. So people should use mobile phones more wisely and quietly.
Water
Nothing can live without water. The water we drink is a blessing of Allah; however we are not wise in using it. Everyone should feel sorry for every drop of water wasted in our house. We all know that water is necessary for drinking, cooking, washing and irrigation. We are going to reclaim new areas of desert land. Meanwhile, water is a renewable source of energy which is cheap to generate electricity. So, all people should know how to care for every drop of water because the next century will witness a severe attack and an endless war for providing water supplies

Tourism
Tourism is considered one of the most important earners of foreign currency. Tourists spend a lot of hard currency during their stay in Egypt. Tourists like to visit Egypt to enjoy the sun shine, and the wonderful historic places. They not only like to visit the citadel, the pyramids, Luxor and Aswan but they like to see our modern renaissance as well. The world countries are competing among each other to provide the best world tourist services. We should do our best to encourage tourists to visit us again and again. We should establish cheap hotels and tourist villages along our shores. Finally, we can say that tourism is a giant project helps flourish our economy.

Health
Health is a priceless treasure that completes our happiness and a gift of Allah. We cannot really enjoy our life if we are unhealthy. For an unhealthy person, life is no more than pain and suffering. He is a helpless member who cannot take part in the process of development. However, healthy people are always good members in their societies and help to achieve its welfare  and progress. So, people should take care of their personal cleanliness as it is tremendously important in the prevention of many kinds of infections. In order to be healthy, we must be clean. We must never eat food that smells bad or swollen canned food. We should always wash hands before and after a meal. We must either boil tap water or cool it before we drink. In the end, as it has been said that "prevention is better than cure" so everybody should pay attention to his health.
Reading
Reading is fun. It's the food of the mind. Reading is the most useful hobby. You can gain a lot of knowledge and information through reading. A book is the best friend one could have, with a book you can fly from one country to another in a short time. You can see and know about places you have never been to. If you want to know about sports or even magic, all you can do is to pick up a book and go through it. So, our schools are provided with libraries in order to encourage our students to read to help them know more and more not only about the subjects they study, but about life as well. In brief, we have to read and read to feel that we are human beings.
Information
Information is not only power but it is everything as well. You can not make decisions or plan anything unless it is based on valid information. Almost all activities in daily life are based on information. Thanks to computers, huge amounts of information are stored, classified. and stored and can be retrieved no time. Industry, trade, medicine, science, air travel, agriculture and even art depend on the validity of information. It is said
that the information of the world is increasing rapidly. It is true that we live in the age of information.

-FAMOUS PEOPLE AND THE PERSON I ADMIRE THE MOST

People can become famous for discovering something, acting, singing, dancing and many other things. Some of them become well-known during their life, the others after their death. There are many famous people all over the world and one of them is Dr.Ahmed Zewail was born and raised in Egypt on February 26,1946,he received both his bachelor's  and master's degrees from Alexandria University. He earned his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania and joined the Caltech faculty in 1976 after two years as an IBM Fellow at the University of California at Berkeley. He has a family of four childern and his wife Dema Zewail, a physician in public health .In fact Dr. Zewail is a source of pride for all Arabs and Egyptians for discovering the femto second and winning the Nobel prize for Chemistry.
2-A book I have read recently
Reading is the only source of knowledge and I want to say that a man without reading is like a river without water .Last week I read Oliver Twist which is the first novel in the English language to centre throughout on a child hero and is also notable for Dickens' portrayal of criminals and their sordid lives. An early example of the social novel, the book calls the public's attention to various social evils, including the Poor Law that states that poor people should work in workhouses, child labour and children as criminals. The moral of Oliver Twist is that bad people must be punished and good people live happily.Mr Brownlow ,Rose and Oliver symbolize right whereas the gang symbolizes evil. Really it is a very interesting novel.
3- The human brain
We have something which is more complicated than the most powerful computer in the world :the brain. The brain is the most complex organ in the human body. It produces our every thought, action, memory, feeling and experience of the world. This jelly-like mass of tissue, weighing in at around 1.4 kilograms, contains one hundred billion nerve cells, or neurons.
. Each neuron can make contact with thousands or even tens of thousands of others,. Our brains form a million new connections for every second of our lives. It controls every thing we do .It sends and receives messages to and from our senses in no time .you can store memories, recognize your favourite singer's voice and smell flowers thanks to your brain. We must all thank Allah for all these gifts.
4-A famous sportsman
Our prophet ordered us to teach our children swimming ,shooting and riding horses. So when we have a famous Egyptian sportsman like Abu-Heif we should be filled with pride and delight . Abu-Heif was one of the best Egyptian athletes. In 2001,    he won a prize          as the best swimmer of the 20th century. Abdel-Latif Abu-Heif was born in 1929 in the Anfoushi area of Alexandria. As a boy, he spent a lot of his time swimming in the sea. At the age of ten, he won the Egyptian primary school swimming championship. After this, he moved to Cairo and trained at Al-Ahli Club.

In 1951, Abu-Heif became internationally famous when he swam across the English Channel. In 1953, he crossed the Channel again. This time he broke the record by crossing in 13 hours and 45 minutes. When he returned to Egypt, the people welcomed him as a national hero. All of us should be proud of such a great man. As a sign of respect , we should always remember our great heroes. We can show programmes on TV to remind people of past heroes. Their names         should be given to streets and other public places. There should be newspaper             articles, TV serials and books that tell us about them and their achievements

5-A role Model
True role models are those who possess the qualities that we would like to have and those who have affected us in a way that makes us want to be better people. To advocate for ourselves and our goals and take leadership on the issues that we believe in
In "The Old Man And The Sea" the wrier shed the light on the effect of a role model" the old man" and the young apprentice "Manoline".Manoline's parents told him to work with a more successful fisherman as the old man was unlucky for not catching any fish for 84 days.Manoline loved and respected him
He visited the old man every evening to talk to him
Manolin saw him as a great role model. He learned never to give up and face hardships bravely
6-How to protect the environment …. ?

Our planet is in trouble! Almost every day we seem to hear of yet another problem affecting the environment - and what a list of problems! - pollution, acid rain, global warming, the destruction of rainforests and other wild habitats, the decline and extinction of thousands of species of animals and plants....and so on.

Nowadays, most of us know that these threats exist and that humans have caused them. Everybody agrees  that cars and other vehicles are damaging our health and our world. Different countries have different ways of stopping this damage. In some places, for example the price of petrol is very high. In other places, people have to pay to drive on some roads or in some cities. Now a speaker is suggesting that people should only be able to use their cars for four days a week instead of seven. To protect our environment we should use electric cars.
We can use cars which burn fuel efficiently. We can plant more trees. We can move factories to places where no people live.We can use public transport instead of using private cars all the time
7-How to avoid illness
Cleanliness is extremely important in protecting us from infections. Hygiene (your own cleanliness) and sanitation (public cleanliness) are both important.
Many infections of the stomach pass from one person to another because of bad sanitation and hygiene. If a child has dirty hands, they will be covered with millions of germs which we cannot see. If that child gives sweets to another child, some of those germs will be passed to the other child. When this child eats the sweet, he or she will eat some of the germs and may become ill. The child's mother may say that it is because her child ate the sweet, but it is really because her child ate the other child's germs.
These are some of the rules of hygiene. You should always wash your hands before a meal. You should bathe more often in hot weather or when you have been running or been to the gym.
You should also be very careful about the food you eat and the water you drink. Make sure that flies and other insects do not land on your food. Insects eat dirt and there are germs in dirt. If insects land on your food, they may pass their germs on to you. You must not leave pieces of food or dirty dishes lying around, because they will attract flies. You can protect food from flies and germs by covering it. You should always boil tap water before you drink it.
Finally, you must never eat food that smells bad because it may be poisonous. Do not eat food from a tin if the tin is damaged; the food will probably be bad.
8-William Shakespeare
I f you ask me about the greatest playwright ever born ;clearly and with no mere doubt ,I say William Shakespeare. William Shakespeare was born on April 23. 1564. in Stratford in the Midlands of -England. His father was a merchant. William went school when he was 7 but he had to leave at the age of 14 because his family had financial problems.

When he was 18, Shakespeare married a farmer’s daughter called Anne Heathway. William and Anne had three children. After that no one
is sure what Shakespeare did but, in 1592, he left his family and went  to London to become an actor.
Then he started writing poems, and one of his longest poems "Venus and Adonis” was so successful that it made him famous. If he hadn’t found a patron at this time he wouldn't have become a famous writer.
In 1594, Shakespeare was a well-known actor and writer who wrote and performed for a theatre group called King's Men. Shakespeare had started writing in 1588 and for the next 17 years he wrote two plays a year. Many of these were performed at the Globe Theatre near to the River Thames in London. His five famous plays are probably Romeo and Juliet written in 1596. A Midsummer Night's Dream in 1596  King Lear in 1606. Shakespeare part owned The Globe Theatre and made a lot of money enough to buy a very large House in Stratford and he retired there, Shakespeare died on April 23, 16

9-A city you visited and admired it

I've been to London in 2007 and I really enjoyed this visit too much. London is the capital and largest area of both England and the United Kingdom. London's history goes back to its founding by the Romans .London is one of the world's leading business, financial and cultural centres, and its influence in politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and the arts contribute to its status as a major global city.
I visited historic buildings and wonderful places ,museums, theatres, beautiful shops and big parks. I liked it so much. The traffic is not as bad as it was before .You had to pay to drive through the middle of London!. I agree that buses in London can be slow, but the underground's quite fast. I like living in London. It's a really safe city. You can express your opinions freely as long as you are in London.

Write two paragraphs, of five sentences each about :
"The Egyptian youth are the backbone of our country."
The youth are the backbone of any nation. They can take an important part in many fields. They can make new projects in the desert. In addition to reclaiming the desert , they can make use of it and make profit. Besides they can to the villagers and farmers and teach them how to read and write. Thus they can lessen illiteracy.
Also, they can set associations to help their environment. They can plant trees in the streets since trees reduce the percentage of environmental pollution. They can take part in the new projects carried out in the new cities. They enrich the country with creative ideas and thoughts which put the country on the way of development and progress.
Finally, where are youth , there is progress and prosperity.

How to keep the environment clean .
Have we asked ourselves this question? Have we found an answer? Environment is where we live .we have to keep it clean. We can do this by different means. What about planting trees? We have to plant vast areas of trees as they take in carbon dioxide and give out oxygen. We have to search for the reasons for environmental pollution. We have to solve the problem of pollution. Modern means of transport cause pollution. Moreover, they cause sound pollution with their sirens, horns and the noise of their engines. Scientists have to make research and produce fuel which is free of lead. Also in the field of agriculture, countries should pass laws which ban using harmones and poisonous chemicals in food production.  We can spread awareness among people to keep it clean. We have to teach our children how to keep our environment clean. For example , tell them to dump their wastes in baskets.
The long and the short of it, where is clean environment, there is a nice place where you can enjoy your time and life .

Write a paragraph of eight sentences, using the guidance provided:

Computer study has become very essential nowadays. Nearly all Machines in factories, hospitals and houses are computerized. Unless you know how to deal with them, you are illiterate. A computerized machine not only works in a challenging speed, but also with a great accuracy and efficiently as well. Using the internet is very useful too. You can get access to any country in the world with a click on the mouse or a press on the keyboard. You can have a lot of information about any subject you select. Also, you can make friends with persons from all over the world. To apply for a job you have to skill using the computer . The computer has become part and parcel of our daily life.
The long and the short of it . I can't imagine my life without the computer.

" Hard work leads to success "

There is an everlasting relation between success and hard work. We can say where is hard work , there is success. To achieve your goals , you have to work hard .the lazy have no place among us.  Student are successful as long as they study hard and do whatever is asked from them by their teachers. So it's the role of schools and universities to encourage students to do better.
The more you work, the more you gain and earn. Everyone of us must be a man of work not a man of a word. Undoubtedly, lazy people seldom achieve their goals and fail their life. This kind of people aren’t productive in our society but they are parasites. In conclusion, Success is sweet . So we must exert great effort to be successful in life.

Television
Everything in our life has a bright side and a dark side. The bright side represents the advantages while the dark side represents the disadvantages. This fact applies to the TV.
No one can deny the role of TV. It's true that it has a lot of advantages. It's the cheapest means of entertainment. It's an effective means of culture. Students learn much from the educational programmes. In addition to that, TV. attracts people of all ages. It is considered the main source of getting news. It gives you the chance to know what is happening around you. It is also a means of advertising goods. On the other hand, there are some disadvantages to TV. We waste much time watching it instead of reading or working or studying. It also shows scenes of violence which affect us very badly.
In conclusion , We have to make the best use of its advantages and avoid its disadvantages.
Tourism in Egypt
Is tourism important? I think it very important for various reasons. Tourism is the second most important earner of foreign currency for Egypt after petroleum products. It employs huge number of Egyptians such as travel agents, tour guides, hotel staff and building workers. If we want to increase the number of tourists, we should encourage tourists to come. Our country does its best to meet all tourists' demands. we have to decrease pollution in our cities. We should also pave the bumpy roads. New facilities such as parks and transport must be improved to help tourists move easily fro one place to another. Egypt occupies a remarkable position in the field of tourism because it is the meeting point of three continents. Egypt has a mild climate all the year round which attracts a lot of tourists.
